Adapted Gymnasium

Dr Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović and the mayor of Danilovgrad, Aleksandar Grgurović, visited the Public Gymnasium “Petar I Petrović Njegoš” in Danilovgrad, where significant investments have been made to improve infrastructure, school equipment, and conditions for modern teaching, funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation. In the previous period, about 135,000 euros were invested in adapting and renovating the school building, significantly enhancing the functionality and quality of the space used daily by students and teachers. Additionally, around 50,000 euros were allocated for the procurement of new school furniture, including benches, chairs, blackboards, lecterns, cabinets, and other necessary furnishings for quality teaching. About 50,000 euros were also invested in STEM equipment for the classrooms, providing students with better access to practical and interdisciplinary education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Generations of young people in this school have gained knowledge and values that prepared them for further education and professional development, making every investment in students, teachers, and working conditions an investment in the future of our city. The Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation will continue, in cooperation with local governments and educational institutions, to create a more modern, functional, and stimulating educational environment for all students and staff in the Montenegrin education system.
