Prime Minister congratulates Kolašin Municipality Day

August, during which, as he noted, the memory of exceptional personalities from the Moračko-Rovačko region is permanently preserved, who, by giving immense contributions to the preservation of national freedom, dignity, and progress, remain the brightest role models for future generations. Almost no creative field, even within regional frameworks, has left an indelible mark by outstanding individuals from this area, laying the foundations for new achievements and values, emphasized Spajić. He conveyed that Kolašin will continue to have full support in implementing major projects, basing economic development on full respect for sustainability principles, and in this context, he particularly highlighted: a city that has gone through challenging transition days is emerging as one of the most prominent regional centers for year-round tourism. Infrastructure projects, which we are jointly implementing, guarantee that even the most remote, untouched natural beauty areas will become recognizable attractions and pearls of rural, ethno, and adventure tourism. The Prime Minister also praised the dynamics of work on one of the most important local roads, whose reconstruction will largely resolve the decades-long traffic congestion problem in the city, and added that the construction of the highway and the improvement of other regional corridors continue to connect local centers and tourist zones more effectively. Encouraged by the fundamentally responsible and functional relationship between legislative and executive authorities regarding the most significant challenges facing our country, we are convinced that both Kolašin and Montenegro are writing new, most beautiful pages of European growth and development.
