Ulcinj: Bosnian citizen detained after report of shooting, firearm seized illegally
Officers from the Ulcinj Department of Security responded last night to a report that an individual was shooting a firearm. They took immediate action to prevent further misuse of the weapon, located the suspect, and, upon order from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj, detained him. Around 9:00 PM, citizens reported hearing gunshots from a house in Donji Štoj. Police arrived at the residence, where a parent handed over a firearm used by M.P.—a 'Crvena Zastava' pistol, caliber 7.65 mm, with five rounds in the chamber and an additional six rounds in a bag. Witnesses at the scene stated that M.P. allegedly fired two shots into the air from inside the house and behaved aggressively, breaking objects and sustaining injuries to his hands and legs. Based on the evidence collected, M.P. was detained on suspicion of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials.
