Modern approaches in Italian language teaching presented at a professional meeting at the Institute for Education

On the occasion of European Day of Languages, a professional meeting titled "A Step Further in Teaching: Italian for Foreigners Between Experience and Innovation" was held at the Institute for Education, dedicated to modern approaches in teaching Italian. The meeting was opened by Raba Hodžić, director of the Institute for Education, Aleksandra Hajduković, director of the Institute for Textbooks and Teaching Aids, and Deja Piletić, head of the Study Program for Italian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Montenegro. The program covered modern teaching methods, the application of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, and ways to make lessons more dynamic, interactive, and inclusive. The professional part was led by Giorgio Massei, director of ALMA Edizioni publishing house and an expert in Italian didactics, who shared experiences and examples of contemporary teaching practices with participants. The meeting was jointly organized by the Institute for Education and ALMA Edizioni, the Study Program for Italian Language and Literature at the University of Montenegro, with support from the Educational Center and the Association of Italian Language Teachers of Montenegro. It provided an opportunity for teachers to exchange experiences and ideas, and to learn about new approaches and tools that can contribute to higher quality and more modern Italian language education.
