Transport Authority Announced Tender for Reconstruction of Nikšić - Plužine Road, Section Seljani - Zaborje
The Transport Authority has announced a tender for the reconstruction of the section of the main road Seljani - Zaborje, approximately 12 kilometers long. This is a section of the main road Nikšić - Plužine, which continues the already reconstructed route Zaborje - Jasenovo Polje, further improving one of the key traffic connections between Nikšić and the northwestern part of Montenegro. The estimated value of the works is 15.8 million euros, with a planned completion time of 550 days. The project includes reconstruction of the existing road with two lanes each 3.5 meters wide, as well as the construction of additional lanes for slow vehicles on ascents, totaling about 1.8 kilometers. It also involves installing a steel protective guardrail and setting up new traffic signals. The implementation of the project will significantly improve safety and traffic quality on this section, and continuing the reconstruction of the Nikšić - Plužine main route will enhance connectivity of this area with the rest of the national road network.
