Bečić: Montenegro needs an accurate, reliable and up-to-date voter register
In recent years, Montenegro has finally gained freedom in voting and political choice. We have democratic electoral processes, but as the next country expected to join the European Union, Montenegro also needs an accurate, reliable and up-to-date voter register. That is why, several months ago, my colleague Šaranović, the relevant working groups and I proposed concrete legislative solutions to help achieve this goal. The solutions are on the table, and the decision lies with the political structures. This reform, which would lead to an accurate and reliable voter register and significant improvements, requires votes and legislation from the Montenegrin Parliament.
