Open call for applications to participate in the International School of Scientific Diplomacy

The Ettore Majorana Foundation and Centre for Scientific Culture has announced a call for candidates to participate in the Second International School of Scientific Diplomacy, which will be held from October 4. The school is organized in cooperation with several international academic and scientific institutions, and this year's edition is dedicated to the theme "Arctic: Challenges for Scientific Diplomacy." Through lectures, practical activities, and discussions with international experts, participants will have the opportunity to gain new knowledge about the history, development, and perspectives of scientific diplomacy, scientific and geopolitical challenges of the Arctic, international cooperation in polar regions, strategic transportation routes, and future challenges of global scientific diplomacy. The call is intended for diplomatic personnel, officials of international organizations and NGOs, university professors and researchers, as well as candidates who have completed master's studies or possess an appropriate equivalent qualification. Participation costs amount to 1,050 EUR and include attending the full program, accommodation and meals during the school, as well as organized transportation to and from Trapani and Palermo airports.
