Call for proposals - Procurement of firefighting equipment, RfQ 01/2026 within the GEF7 project. The project team representing GEF 7 project "Integrating Biodiversity into Sectoral Policies and Practices and Strengthening the Protection of Key Biodiversity Areas in Montenegro," implemented by the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development, and Urban Planning, invites you to submit a proposal for the procurement of firefighting equipment. The project "Integrating Biodiversity into Sectoral Policies and Practices and Strengthening the Protection of Key Biodiversity Areas in Montenegro" focuses on key biodiversity areas (KBA) in Montenegro, encompassing various interventions including ecosystem protection and working with sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and forestry. Component 1 addresses management constraints related to protected areas and unprotected key biodiversity points. The project ensures improved management of protected pilot areas to meet international biodiversity protection requirements within key biodiversity areas and other international biodiversity points. Component 2 focuses on production sectors outside protected areas near key biodiversity areas, addressing sectoral threats to biodiversity through practices adapted to biodiversity and sectoral development scenarios for tourism, forestry, and agriculture, considering potential impacts on biodiversity.
