Warning - Active phishing campaign abusing the name of the Central Bank and Western Union

We warn the public about an active phishing campaign spreading false messages via messaging apps and social networks, claiming that the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) and Western Union are giving a one-time cash gift of 50 euros to all adult citizens of Montenegro, urging users to click on a provided link to supposedly claim the funds. This is a phishing scam aimed at tricking users into opening malicious links and revealing sensitive data such as personal, financial, or banking information. Such scams can lead to identity theft, unauthorized access to user accounts, or financial loss. We advise citizens to be especially cautious when receiving unexpected messages promising monetary rewards, gifts, or other benefits. Remember that credible institutions and companies will never ask you to provide confidential, personal, or banking information via SMS, email, or social media.
