Minister Vuković in Riga Presented Montenegro's Reform Priorities to Global Financial Leaders

Minister of Finance, Mr. Novica Vuković, during the Annual Meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Riga, presented to international financial leaders Montenegro's reform progress, development priorities, and ambition to join the European Union by 2028. At one of the most significant international financial forums dedicated to economic development, investments, and reforms, which gathers finance ministers, central bank governors, representatives of international financial institutions, and business leaders from over 70 countries, Vuković showcased Montenegro's achievements in fiscal stability, economic reforms, and improving the investment climate. Addressing the plenary session, Minister Vuković emphasized Montenegro's high regard for its long-standing partnership with the EBRD, which has contributed significantly to modernizing the Montenegrin economy, improving infrastructure, and strengthening institutional capacities through investments, expert support, and reform dialogue. He also welcomed the adoption of the EBRD's first Economic Governance Strategy, highlighting its priorities such as strengthening institutions and improving public management.
