Nikšićanin arrested for domestic violence and illegal possession of weapons – five weapons found; threatened wife with a pistol

Police officers from the Nikšić Security Department, acting on a report of domestic violence, took urgent preventive measures and actions to prevent further violence and possible serious consequences caused by the use of firearms. Under the order of the public prosecutor, they detained one person and confiscated five firearms. Coordinating with the public prosecutor's office, police conducted searches at four locations in Nikšić and Šavnik used by A.N. During the searches, five weapons were found: two pistols with ammunition, three rifles, and 60 rounds of ammunition. After collecting information, and upon the order of the public prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, A.N. was detained on suspicion of committing criminal offenses of domestic violence and illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials. After questioning at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, the investigating prosecutor ordered his detention.
