First Meeting of the Working Group for the Revision of Professional Qualification Standards in the Field of Marine Engineering Held

On [year], at the premises of the Secondary Maritime School in Kotor, the first meeting of the working group for the revision of professional qualification standards was held: Marine Engineer at the operational level, level IV1, and Mazač, level III. During the meeting, the members of the working group analyzed amendments to the standards for the occupations Marine Engineer at the operational level, level IV1, and Mazač, level III, units of qualification within the existing professional qualification standards, areas of knowledge, and key competencies, making changes and additions in accordance with occupational standards, national and international regulations and conventions in the field of maritime affairs. The next meeting is planned to be held at the Secondary Vocational School in Bar, where all amendments and additions to the aforementioned qualification standards will be aligned. The working group consists of representatives from the Secondary Maritime School in Kotor, the Secondary Vocational School in Bar, the Maritime Faculty in Kotor, and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. The meeting was led by Dušan Bošković and Srđan Obradović from the Center for Vocational Education.
