Smart Internet with Open Source Sesame
On March 1, 2002, Stichting NLnet and Aidministrator from Amersfoort will launch the Sesame project. Knowing that a 'voetbank' is a special type of bench intended for resting your feet and belongs to the furniture category, you won't need to look among financial institutions. RDF (Resource Description Framework) is an important, W3C-standardized language for the intelligent representation of information and context. With Sesame, applications such as intelligent agents, search engines, or business portals can utilize this additional contextual information to better and more accurately serve their users. The signing of the agreement between NLnet and Aidministrator will take place on March 12 in Amersfoort. For more information, you can contact Jeen Broekstra, Sesame project leader (email: jeen.broekstra@aidministrator.nl; phone: 033-465 9987).
