Supreme Audit Office examined the management of ÚOOÚ. Its control system was deemed effective
In 2026, the Supreme Audit Office (NKÚ) reviewed the final account data, accounting records, and financial statements of the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ) for the year 2025. The audit was part of NKÚ's 2025 audit plan under number 25/15. During the review of accounting records, NKÚ identified deficiencies mainly related to contingent liabilities from contracts. ÚOOÚ corrected the identified accounting errors and implemented appropriate systemic measures in accounting and reporting. The final account of ÚOOÚ and the data submitted for evaluation of the fulfillment of the state budget for 2025 were assessed by NKÚ as reliable. As of December 2025, NKÚ concluded that the financial statements provide a true and fair view of the subject of accounting and the financial position of the entity, in accordance with accounting regulations for some selected entities.
