In Luxembourg, Montenegrin citizen located and arrested for drug-related criminal offense
Police officers in Luxembourg, acting upon an international red notice issued by NCB Interpol Podgorica, located and detained Montenegrin citizen A.M. (38), who is under criminal proceedings in Montenegro for drug abuse. The red notice was issued by the Higher Court in Bijelo Polje to secure his presence in the criminal process related to suspected illegal production, possession, and distribution of narcotics. The arrest followed targeted international searches and intensive operational information exchange between the Regional Security Center 'North' and the FAST teams for targeted searches in Montenegro, and the FAST team in Luxembourg, which led to the location of the individual. The next step involves communication between NCB Interpol Podgorica and NCB Interpol Luxembourg to facilitate the extradition process.
