Call for Applications Announced for the FLEX Global Program
FLEX Global (Future Leaders Exchange Global) is an exchange program in the United States for ninth-grade elementary school students and first- and second-year secondary school students. It is fully funded by the U.S. Government (Department of State) and implemented by American Councils for International Education in partnership with AFS organizations. Through the program, students develop leadership skills and gain knowledge about American culture and values, entrepreneurship, technology, business, and achievements in innovation. The program is based on the principles of equal opportunity and merit-based selection, and participation is free of charge. FLEX Global enables selected students to spend one academic year in the United States, attend an American high school, and live with a carefully selected host family. The program covers round-trip travel, accommodation, schooling, health insurance to the extent provided for, and a monthly allowance.
