Ten organizations selected for the mentoring program to prepare Horizon Europe projects

The program is being implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Montenegro, as part of the project “Innovation for Development and Economic Advancement in Montenegro (IDEA-ME),” with financial support from the European Union through the Montenegro Acceleration Fund. A commission composed of representatives of the Ministry and UNDP evaluated the applications in accordance with the criteria set out in the public call, after which it prepared a report and established a ranking list. The Institute for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies The selected organizations will receive expert and continuous mentoring support in developing project ideas and preparing high-quality project proposals for relevant Horizon Europe calls, aligned with the priority areas of Montenegro’s Smart Specialisation Strategy 2026–2031. The support will include practical training on Horizon Europe, identification of suitable calls, development of international partnerships and consortia, as well as assistance in preparing and improving project proposals. The program was launched in [year], and its aim is to strengthen the capacity of Montenegrin organizations to participate in European research and innovation programs, with a particular focus on the priorities of Montenegro’s Smart Specialisation Strategy. The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation continues to support Montenegrin organizations in strengthening their capacity to participate in Horizon Europe, developing international cooperation, and preparing high-quality project proposals, with the aim of increasing the participation and success of Montenegrin institutions and businesses in European research and innovation programs.
