Krapović: Confirmed Capabilities of VCG in Another Successful Rescue Operation

Members of the Air Force and helicopter rescuers of the Montenegrin Army once again demonstrated a high level of training, professionalism, and readiness to respond quickly and efficiently when human lives are at risk. A successful rescue and evacuation operation was carried out for a citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany, who sustained head and arm injuries after falling in the Durmitor area. In this demanding operation, besides members of the Montenegrin Army, members of the Mountain Rescue Service and local rescue teams participated, confirming the importance of coordinated action among all services in the protection and rescue system. Members of the Montenegrin Army safely evacuated the injured person and handed him over to the Emergency Medical Service team in Žabljak, where further medical assistance was provided. The capabilities of our Air Force and specialized helicopter rescuers, trained to operate in extremely challenging conditions, inaccessible terrains, and situations where quick response can be crucial for saving lives, are particularly important. I extend my gratitude to all members of the Montenegrin Army, the Mountain Rescue Service, local rescue teams, and medical teams involved in this operation, as well as to the medical personnel who took over the care of the injured.
