At around 2 p.m. today, the duty service of the Bar Security Department was notified that a firearm had been used in the Bjeliši neighborhood of Bar. Police officers immediately went to the scene, where they found a male person, Z., who is suspected of having used a firearm—a pistol—against a female person, D. An Emergency Medical Service team transported her to a medical facility for treatment. The state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident and will direct the investigation. In coordination with the competent prosecutor’s office and on the instructions of the prosecutor in charge, police officers are carrying out an on-site investigation and other investigative measures and actions to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
