Enhanced controls on Montenegrin roads: 74 drivers detained, mostly for alcohol – no fatalities in traffic accidents
During the weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), 46 traffic accidents were recorded on Montenegrin roads, with no fatalities. Two people sustained serious injuries, while 12 others were lightly injured. In the same period, traffic police officers issued 210 misdemeanor reports, 1,547 misdemeanor tickets, temporarily seized 13 license plates, and one passenger vehicle. Of the total drivers detained, 35 were in Podgorica, eight in Budva, and four each in Bar and Nikšić.
