Krapović thanked Marsela for support to Montenegro and development of defense cooperation

He emphasized that these two countries are connected by shared values, a strong alliance within NATO, and a high level of mutual trust, assessing that Ambassador Marsela's mandate was marked by intensive and substantive cooperation in the field of defense. He particularly highlighted the importance of cooperation in modernizing defense capacities, training military personnel, and joint participation in military exercises and other activities of mutual importance. The Minister also underscored the support provided by the ambassador during her tenure to Montenegro on its EU integration path. He expressed hope that Italy's strong support for Montenegro's reform processes will continue and that it will further develop based on friendship and mutual respect. He stated that Italy will continue to provide consistent support to Montenegro as a credible NATO ally and as the first upcoming EU member. At the end of the meeting, Krapović wished the ambassador success in her future professional endeavors, once again thanked her for her personal contribution to strengthening cooperation, and expressed confidence that the strong alliance between Montenegro and Italy will continue to develop for mutual benefit.
