The Institute for Education organized the seminar “Psychosocial Support for Children/Students in Stressful Situations,” intended for employees of primary and secondary schools in Cetinje. The seminar focused on strengthening the capacity of staff in educational institutions to respond to crisis situations, provide support to children and students, and communicate responsibly with the media. Topics included understanding crisis situations, psychological crisis interventions, and organizing work in educational institutions during crises. Participants learned about approaches that contribute to timely and responsible public information, as well as ways to organize institutional work during the first days of a crisis and the period that follows. The seminar was led by Stela Burzanović, Ana Popović Jovović, and Radoje Novović, who addressed the psychological, organizational, and communication aspects of responding to crisis situations. Timely responses, coordinated action by staff, and responsible communication with the public contribute to protecting the well-being of children and students and preserving trust in the education system.
