Police in Bars find cocaine in Cetinje resident; person detained

Officials from the Bar Department of Security, conducting planned activities aimed at suppressing street drug distribution and identifying perpetrators involved in drug abuse crimes, detained Ž.P. (25) from Cetinje on the order of the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica. Cocaine was found with him. On August 20th, in the evening hours, Ž.P. and the vehicle he was driving were searched in Buljarica, during which multiple packages of cocaine weighing over 20 grams were discovered, suspected to be intended for further street distribution. He was brought to the official premises for information gathering, after which the competent state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed and ordered his detention on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotics.
