Ibrahimović at farewell reception on the occasion of the end of Ambassador Hrebičkova's term

The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović attended a farewell reception organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Montenegro on the occasion of Ambassador Janina Hrebičkova's departure. During the event, Ibrahimović thanked Ambassador Hrebičkova for her dedicated work and significant contribution to improving relations between Montenegro and the Czech Republic, emphasizing that bilateral relations were further strengthened and enriched with new content during her tenure. 'Czechia is one of our reliable European partners – a country that provides Montenegro with continuous political support, as well as concrete knowledge and experience,' said Ibrahimović, adding that they especially value Ambassador Hrebičkova's strong engagement in supporting Montenegro's European perspective and understanding the complexity of reforms leading to membership. During her tenure, cooperation between Montenegro and Czechia was further developed in numerous areas. Ibrahimović highlighted the growing interest of Czech companies in participating in projects in Montenegro, especially in transport infrastructure, railways, road infrastructure, and the automotive industry, as well as the importance of the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement for further economic relations. Czechia remains a reliable partner and a strong advocate of our country's European perspective, and you contributed to making that support visible and concrete,' Ibrahimović told the ambassador. Thanking her for her cooperation, professional engagement, and contribution to the development of relations between the two countries, Ibrahimović expressed confidence that the results achieved during her tenure will serve as a solid foundation for further advancement. 'I am convinced that people in Montenegro will remember Ambassador Hrebičkova as a sincere friend,' Ibrahimović said, with a message that Montenegro and Czechia remain friends, allies, and partners.
