Emergency Preparedness Week 2026
Emergency Preparedness Week is a new national initiative aimed at bringing together authorities, civil society organizations, businesses, media, and citizens to strengthen Denmark's resilience against crises. 2026 is the launch year, marking the beginning of a recurring event that will broadly focus on emergency preparedness across Denmark. The goal is to create a shared emergency culture where societal security and preparedness become a natural part of everyday life and a collective responsibility. The week will gather existing and new initiatives under a common national framework, allowing both national and local actors to contribute with communication efforts and concrete events. Interested parties can get an overview, register their own events, find inspiration for activities, and see how they can contribute to the joint effort to enhance societal security and emergency preparedness in Denmark.
