AKSK held public hearings on amendments to the cybersecurity draft law
AKSK held public hearings on the proposed changes to the draft law on cybersecurity - The National Authority for Cybersecurity conducted public consultations on the proposed amendments to the law "On some additions and changes to Law No. 25/2024 'On cybersecurity'", with the participation of representatives from state institutions, critical and important information infrastructure operators, as well as the banking sector. Bledar Kazia, along with institutional representatives, presented the planned innovations in the draft law and their impact on strengthening national cybersecurity. During the presentation, detailed changes according to relevant articles were discussed, along with the challenges and needs that motivated their proposal. Participants shared their comments and suggestions during the discussions, while AKSK experts provided clarifications on key aspects of the draft law. The proposed amendments aim to increase the effectiveness of cybersecurity protection mechanisms, strengthen capacities for incident prevention and response, clarify operators' obligations, and establish new oversight mechanisms.
