Bečić: Firefighters from Berane Evacuated a Woman and Child from a Threatened Area near Virpazar

The excellent team of the Protection and Rescue Service from Berane, returning today from Ulcinj, noticed a fire near Virpazar and immediately came to the aid of colleagues from the Bar Protection and Rescue Service. The firefighters from Berane evacuated a woman and a child from the endangered area, and then, together with colleagues, also dedicated and committed firefighters from Bar and Budva, a member of DVD Crna Gora, and with the support of our air units, managed to control and localize the fire. Returning tonight from Ulcinj, after visiting Briska Gora and Vladimir, I noticed Berane firefighters heading home. I wanted us to stop, to shake hands, and personally tell them what every firefighter deserves to hear these days. These are people who, wherever they are and whoever needs help, do not ask whose municipality it is, whether they are on duty, or how tired they are. Today, they showed what the state looks like when its people stand together.
