Published General Crisis Plan for Managing Crisis Situations in Food Safety and Food for Animals
Based on Article 34, Paragraph 5 of the Food Safety Law (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No. 59/26), the Government of Montenegro adopted the General Crisis Plan for managing crisis situations in the field of food safety and food for animals at its session held in 2024. The General Crisis Plan was published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro, No. 87/2026, on December 24. This plan regulates the procedures in crisis situations in the field of food safety and food for animals when food or feed poses a direct or indirect risk to human, animal health, or the environment, and the risk cannot be prevented, eliminated, or reduced to an acceptable level through regular measures prescribed by law.
