Nišić at the SIA Competition Final: Young Social Innovators Are Architects of European and Solidary Montenegro

Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Dialogue, Naida Nišić, addressed the ceremonial final of the Social Impact Award (SIA) competition, stating that young social innovators are the architects of European and modern Montenegro. Social economy is the answer to these challenges, as it recognizes your potential and provides tools to turn problems into sustainable business solutions," emphasized Minister Nišić. She highlighted that the values promoted by the SIA program – sustainable development, social justice, innovation, and solidarity – are at the very heart of the European integration Montenegro aspires to, and confirmed that the Ministry remains a strong partner and supporter of young entrepreneurs on their path to creating positive social change. The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Dialogue also played an active role in the idea evaluation process, with Snežana Ivanović, head of the Directorate for Social Economy, Volunteering, and Cooperation with the Civil Sector, serving as a member of the expert jury. The jury's task was to assess projects with the greatest potential for social impact and sustainability among outstanding ideas. The Social Impact Award (SIA) is the largest program supporting youth social entrepreneurship, implemented in Montenegro by the Center for Youth Education with the support of partners, providing young people with opportunities to turn their ideas into sustainable social businesses through education, mentorship, and financial support.
