Pet Montenegrin schools successfully completed participation in the international project "Wind of Peace"

Five Montenegrin educational institutions successfully completed their participation in the international project "Wind of Peace," implemented by the Slovenian UNESCO Associated Schools Network and the National Commission for UNESCO Slovenia. The project is carried out in Montenegro with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation, aiming primarily to empower the voices of children and youth in building a safer and more peaceful future. Participating in this significant initiative were elementary schools "Novka Ubović" from Podgorica, "Mileva Lajović Lalatović" from Nikšić, and "Mustafa Pećanin" from Rožaje, as well as Nikšić Gymnasium "Stojan Cerović" and the Secondary Mixed School from Petnjica. Connecting with peers worldwide, Montenegrin students sent powerful messages of solidarity, unity, and global friendship by writing messages in the "Traveling Book of Peace." Subsequently, the book was shared through dynamic cultural-artistic events, mutual visits, and educational workshops among partner schools in Nikšić, Petnjica, and Rožaje. During these encounters, young people promoted Montenegrin tradition, cultural heritage, and natural beauty through creative photo and video materials, highlighting their connection to universal human values.
