Stable movements of public debt in the first quarter of 2026

In the first quarter of 2026, Montenegro's gross public debt amounted to 5,133.5 million euros, or 59.9% of GDP, while the national debt was 5,106 million euros or 59.6% of GDP. The gross public debt decreased by nearly 55 million euros. During the first quarter, the government duly serviced all obligations related to public debt, maintaining fiscal stability.
