Police officers in the northern region have clarified three cases of attacks on injured persons – criminal charges filed against four persons, two of whom are detained
Police officers of the Regional Center for Security 'North' have clarified three cases of physical attacks on injured persons that occurred in recent days in Rožaje, Bijelo Polje, and Berane. In connection with these cases, and upon orders from the competent state prosecutors, criminal charges have been filed against four suspects, two of whom are detained. Officers from the Rožaje Security Department, under the order of the public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Rožaje, detained O.N (26) and A.T (29) from Rožaje on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of hooliganism combined with serious bodily injury against a 44-year-old victim. Officers from the Bijelo Polje Security Department filed criminal charges with the public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje against a 17-year-old minor suspected of causing serious bodily injury to a 14-year-old minor. It is suspected that these two individuals met at a stadium for a pre-arranged fight, during which the minor suspect physically assaulted the victim and delivered multiple blows, resulting in serious bodily injury. Officers from the Berane Security Department filed criminal charges with the public prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Berane against Lj.Z (66) from Berane, suspected of causing serious bodily injury to a 48-year-old victim. It is believed that he physically attacked the victim in front of a hospitality establishment and delivered several closed-fist punches to the head, resulting in a serious injury – a fracture of the nasal bone.
