Upgraded e-Socijala information system mid-October in production

After a year and a half of intensive development and comprehensive testing, the innovative social and child protection system solution will be launched into production in all social work centers across Montenegro in mid-October. In September, final testing of the upgraded e-Socijala social and child protection information system was conducted to verify its full functionality and readiness for operational environment. This testing was preceded by visits to all social work centers and their branch units, carried out by the Directorate for Informatics and Analytical-Statistical Affairs together with working team members. During the final testing by end-users, modules for material assistance and case management procedures, including referrals to social and child protection services and family law issues, were thoroughly analyzed. The testing also covered salary reimbursements, archival operations, mail dispatch, new e-registries, and a business analytics (BI) module designed for statistical monitoring, processing, and data analysis. Launching the upgraded system into production in mid-October will complete the development process that lasted a year and a half, with active participation of employees in social work centers and continuous testing of the solution in real working conditions, all aimed at enabling even better protection for the most vulnerable groups of the population.
