Free training for professional users of plant protection products on Thursday in Nikšić
The Food Safety, Veterinary, and Phytosanitary Affairs Directorate, in cooperation with the Innovation-Entrepreneurship Center "Tehnopolis," continues to implement specialized courses for training professional users of plant protection products. The first specialized course was recently held in Pljevlja, and the next training will be held in Nikšić on Thursday, the 23rd. The aim of the specialized course is to raise the level of knowledge and competencies of individuals who professionally use plant protection products. The course is free and includes both theoretical and practical parts, covering topics such as plant protection and good agricultural practices, risk reduction measures, storage and handling of substances, risks and first aid measures, waste management, regulations and records, application devices, practical training, and calculations. All interested farmers and users of plant protection products are invited to apply by filling out the attached form. The training is conducted in accordance with Article 6 of the Law on Plant Protection Products, relevant regulations, and the Phytosanitary Measures Program derived from the National Plan for the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products for the period 2021–2026.
