One-Stop-Shop case digest on right to object and right to erasure updated
This project has been developed in the framework of the Support Pool of Experts programme, which aims to support cooperation among Data Protection Authorities (DPAs). Thematic one-stop-shop case digests are drafted based on decisions from the EDPB’s public (based on Art.60 GDPR). These digests complement the EDPB's public by highlighting key decisions on specific themes and providing aggregated results. The digest on the right to object and right to erasure offers insights into how DPAs analyze internal processes to ensure compliance, covering cases like objections to direct marketing and requests to erase online data. The main goal is to help European DPAs enhance their capacity to supervise and enforce data protection rules through shared tools and expert support.
