More than one billion euros in tax revenues for seven months
In the first seven months of the year, a total of 1.04 billion euros in gross tax revenues was collected, which is 83.1 million euros or 9% more compared to the same period last year. VAT revenue in this period amounted to 304.6 million euros, an increase of 9.8 million euros or 3.3% compared to the same period last year. Corporate profit tax collected was 224 million euros, which is 7.7 million euros or 3.6% more than the same period last year. In July alone, 154.3 million euros in gross revenue was collected, representing an increase of 28.7 million euros or 23% compared to July of the previous year, further accelerating the growth trend compared to earlier months this year. The Tax Administration will continue to implement activities aimed at strengthening tax discipline, improving the efficiency of public revenue collection, and combating the informal economy. At the same time, through further development of digital services and enhancement of taxpayer services, it will continue to promote voluntary compliance with tax regulations and contribute to creating a stable, transparent, and competitive business environment.
