UPDATED PRELIMINARY RANKING LIST FOR MEASURE 1 OF THE IPARD III PROGRAMME – INFORMATION ON APPLICATION STATUS AND FURTHER PROCEDURES
EXPLANATION OF THE PRELIMINARY RANKING LIST FOR MEASURE 1 OF THE IPARD III PROGRAMME The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management – the IPARD Managing Authority and the Paying Agency for Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries – are publishing an updated preliminary ranking list of applications submitted under the first Public Call for Measure 1, “Investments in Physical Assets of Agricultural Holdings,” of the IPARD III programme. Following consideration of the possibility of securing additional funds, funds were reallocated within the IPARD III programme, thereby securing funding for contracting all eligible investments that meet the requirements of the Public Call and do not include the purchase of a tractor as part of the investment. Once the final available funds are known, it will be possible to define more precisely the further schedule for contracting and processing applications that include the purchase of tractors, in accordance with the established order of eligible applications and the applicable rules of the IPARD III programme. Pending the statements of all beneficiaries regarding the notification on the examination procedure – the status of applications for which the completion of beneficiaries’ responses to the notifications on the examination procedure is awaited, in order to establish the final status of eligible applications and ensure that the total funds contracted for investments including tractors do not exceed the available financial allocation for this purpose. Where the total amount of eligible applications exceeds the available budget, applications are scored and ranked on the basis of the ranking list that forms an integral part of the Regulation on the Implementation of Measures (Annex 3 to the Regulation) and version 1.2 of the IPARD III programme, under which the Public Call was issued. The Ministry and the Agency will continue to inform beneficiaries and the public in a timely manner about further steps in implementing Measure 1 of the IPARD III programme, in compliance with the applicable rules, procedures and principles of transparency.
