Increased Police Activities in Nikšić: Weapons and Ammunition Seized

Officers of the Regional Security Center "West" – Nikšić Security Department yesterday, in accordance with national priorities in preventing misuse and illegal possession of weapons, ammunition, and explosives, carried out planned activities in the municipality of Nikšić, during which they seized four pieces of weapons and ammunition. Acting on a court order, police officers searched the apartment and other premises used by B.C., during which they seized a hunting rifle of the "Baikal" brand and an air rifle of the "Crvena Zastava" brand, model M56. On the same day, a search was also conducted at the residence and other premises used by M.G., where a "Zastava" brand pistol, model M70, an unknown brand pistol, 29 cartridges for a hunting rifle, and 55 pieces of ammunition of various calibers were found and seized. The events were reported to the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, who will later determine the legal qualification of the act.
