Samir Orahovac

Samir Orahovac is the acting director of the Cyber Security Agency, with many years of experience in information technology, cyber security, and protection of information and communication systems. Throughout his professional career, he has been dedicated to improving cyber security systems, strengthening institutional capacities, and establishing mechanisms for prevention, detection, and response to cyber threats and incidents. His experience includes strategic and operational activities in protecting state information systems, managing cyber risks, and coordinating activities important for the security of Montenegro's digital space. He has attended numerous professional trainings, seminars, conferences, and study visits domestically and abroad in the fields of cyber security, information security, network infrastructure, digital forensics, incident response, and strengthening institutional resilience. As the acting director of the Cyber Security Agency, he is focused on building a modern, efficient, and reliable institution capable of responding to contemporary challenges in cyberspace. His work particularly emphasizes protecting state information systems, developing professional capacities, enhancing national cyber resilience, and strengthening citizens' and institutions' trust in a secure digital environment of Montenegro.
