Call for Applications [lat]„Services Trade Statistics Academy“[/lat]

The World Trade Organization (WTO), in collaboration with the World Bank, United Nations (UN), OECD, Eurostat, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), is organizing the first Services Trade Statistics Academy, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from December 12. The Academy aims to strengthen capacities in the field of international trade in services statistics and focuses on the application of the new Manual for International Trade in Services Statistics (MSITS 2026). This year's program is particularly targeted at least developed countries (LDCs), but is also open to other countries that meet the participation criteria, and is funded by the organizers. The call is intended for government officials from institutions involved in international trade in services statistics, such as central banks, statistical offices, and other relevant institutions. A completed and signed application form, certified by the competent national authority, along with other supporting documents, must be submitted to the Ministry of Economic Development via email at aida.salagic@mek.gov.me no later than December 31. Applications will be officially forwarded through diplomatic channels, via the Montenegrin Permanent Mission to the WTO, no later than January 1.
