VUKOVIĆ WITH EBRD OFFICE HEAD: OVER ONE BILLION EUROS INVESTED IN MONTENEGRO, NEW PHASE OF COOPERATION FOCUSED ON INFRASTRUCTURE, ENERGY, AND PRIVATE SECTOR DEVELOPMENT
Finance Minister, Mr. Novica Vuković, met with Ekaterina Solovova, head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Office in Montenegro, in what was her first meeting with a Montenegrin government representative since taking on her new role. Both sides emphasized the importance of improving connectivity, investing in infrastructure, and developing sustainable tourism to open new economic opportunities, attract investments, and create new jobs, thereby contributing to more balanced regional development across the country. The meeting also highlighted the role of the EBRD in supporting Montenegro's EU accession process. 'We see the EBRD as an important partner in implementing strategic investments, supporting reforms, and creating new opportunities for the economy and citizens throughout Montenegro,' concluded Minister Vuković.
