Vojska Crne Gore continues to help citizens! In Andrijevica, road breakthrough works underway as part of the initiative "Army at your doorstep"

As part of the "Army at your doorstep" initiative, members of the Engineering Company of the Army of Montenegro are engaged in the village of Konjuhe, in the municipality of Andrijevica, where they are conducting works to break through a local road to enable road connectivity and access to houses that previously lacked adequate transportation links. Today, the Deputy Prime Minister for security, defense, fight against crime, and internal policy Aleksa Bečić, Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Montenegrin Army Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović visited the engineers and local residents. They observed the progress of the works and discussed with citizens the importance of this activity for daily life. "The results we see in Andrijevica today confirm that the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Montenegro, beyond their regular missions, successfully fulfill their third mission—direct support to citizens and the development of local communities." The Minister emphasized that the greatest value of such activities is the tangible results that ease daily life. He noted that the completed works are of particular importance to local residents, highlighting that nearly 40 kilometers of local roads have been reconstructed, providing easier access for many households and, for some, their first access to their homes after decades. The Minister assured that the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Montenegro will continue to support local communities, especially in the northern part of the country, within their third mission and according to available capacities, to improve living and working conditions. Reconstructed sections include Trešnjevik–Lisa (4 km), Trepča–Studenci (2.4 km), Previja–Bjeljega (4.5 km), Stavna–Božići (13 km), and Oblo brdo (5 km), with ongoing reconstruction, totaling approximately 30 kilometers of local road infrastructure.
