Suspect from Serbia Detained for Causing Fire in Bar
Officers of the Regional Security Center "Jug" – the Bar Security Department, detained a Serbian citizen S.S., based on an order from the acting state prosecutor at the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Bar. The suspect arrived at a fitness center owned by a private individual, located on the ground floor of a residential building, where he used a suitable device to make an opening in the entrance doors, entered the interior, poured flammable liquid onto a work desk, and then ignited it, causing a fire. He then fled the scene in an unknown direction. Through intensive operational and criminal measures, the Bar Security Department officers identified the suspect and issued a local search. Following the search, Rožaje Security Department officers stopped a passenger vehicle driven by S.S. in the village of Zeleni, Rožaje municipality. After stopping the vehicle, he was taken to the Rožaje Security Department premises and then handed over to the Bar Security Department officers for further proceedings.
