Cetinje: Local operation controlled 115 persons, including 68 foreign nationals – punitive measures issued
On 30th, officials from the Regional Border Police Center "Center" and the Cetinje Security Department conducted a local operation called "Foreigner," aimed at increased control of movement, residence, and work of foreign nationals, as well as accommodation providers within Cetinje. During the operation, a total of 115 individuals and entities were checked, including 68 foreign nationals with temporary residence or stay up to 90 days, 32 Montenegrin citizens, 12 hospitality establishments, and three business entities. Due to violations of the Law on Foreigners, nine misdemeanor orders were issued, proceedings were initiated to terminate the temporary residence for two foreigners, one voluntary return decision was made, and residence cancellations were issued for four foreigners. Citizens from Serbia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Slovakia, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, and Kosovo were sanctioned during the activity.
