Training on Integrity Standards Held for Top Executive Officials

In the year – at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, a successful training on the topic "Strengthening understanding and practical application of integrity standards and confidential counseling for persons holding top executive functions" was conducted today. The training was intended for members of the Government of Montenegro – ministers and state secretaries. This key activity was implemented as part of the Strategy for Combating Corruption and is a direct response to the recommendations from the GRECO evaluation round V for Montenegro. The event was organized in partnership by the Government Secretariat, the Human Resources Administration, and the Anti-Corruption Agency, with renowned Slovenian expert Dr. Jure Škrbec as the main lecturer. During the opening remarks, high officials from the organizing institutions emphasized the importance of personal example and ethics in performing the most responsible functions in the state. Ms. Irena Vućić Popović, Deputy Secretary General of the Government, highlighted that no public function is exempt from the need to acquire new knowledge, and that willingness to learn and implement best practices distinguishes responsible leaders who directly shape the quality.
