SHOES-X creates an integrated data space platform for the global footwear value chain, enabling secure, sovereign data exchange across manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, brands, and consumers while meeting EU compliance requirements such as ESPR and Digital Product Passports (DPP). Gaia-X Lighthouse Projects aim to create a data exchange platform built on transparency, trust, and openness, helping to create a coherent data infrastructure ecosystem. SHOES-X is the latest project to join 23 other Lighthouse Projects spanning industries such as manufacturing, energy, and health.
