Remission periods for regulations under the new cybersecurity law
During autumn and winter 2025, the first proposals for new regulations under the new cybersecurity law (NIS2 directive) were published. The work to develop government regulations that specify the requirements of the cybersecurity law is planned to be completed during the first half of 2026. As part of this process, external consultations will be held, allowing affected operators to provide feedback on the proposed regulations. In April-May 2026, the following regulations will be open for consultation: The Civil Contingencies Agency will issue several regulations based on the cybersecurity law during 2026. We will update our pages as more information becomes available. The Post and Telecom Authority also has regulatory tasks related to the cybersecurity law.
