Representatives of the National Health Insurance Company trained in personal data protection
On October 6th, the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP) organized a training session on personal data protection for representatives of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM). The training aimed to strengthen the knowledge and develop the skills of CNAM staff regarding the correct application of data protection norms, in the context of processing citizens' data and exercising their official duties in the mandatory health insurance sector. The session covered relevant aspects such as respecting data protection principles, institutional responsibilities in data processing, and the importance of ensuring adequate security and confidentiality of information. Participants also had the opportunity to discuss practical situations and clarify legal provisions applicable to their daily activities. Personal data protection is a fundamental element of the activities of public and private entities, and continuous staff training contributes to building an organizational culture based on responsibility, legality, and respect for the rights of data subjects. The event was organized at CNAM's headquarters in a hybrid format with the participation of approximately 200 employees.
