Ulcinj: Police have detained a person for refusing a PAS test; a frame with seven bullets and four knives found in the vehicle he was driving – criminal charges to follow
Officials from the Ulcinj Security Department detained D.Đ (38) from Bar last night for violating traffic safety laws after refusing to undergo a psychoactive substance (PAS) test. During a vehicle inspection, a frame for a pistol containing seven bullets and four knives were found and seized. A criminal complaint will be filed against him with the relevant prosecutor. Around 23:00 hours, during a routine traffic check in Velika plaža, a BMW 320 with Bar license plates driven by D.Đ was stopped. Further measures revealed a plastic container between the front seats containing a pistol frame with seven bullets and four metal knives inside. A total of 16 drivers were detained: four for driving under the influence of alcohol, eight for driving under the influence of PAS, and four for refusing PAS tests. Police across Montenegro continue to intensify preventive and repressive measures in traffic safety, including the use of modern technology such as drones, to improve traffic culture and safety.
