Regulation on Food Additives Adopted
The Government of Montenegro has adopted a Regulation on food additives, published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro, number 112/2026, on the 31st. The regulation stipulates requirements and conditions for the use of food additives in food, as well as labeling requirements, with the aim of ensuring a high level of protection of human health and consumers. The regulation has incorporated Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 on food additives, with amendments and supplements, into the national legislation.
